Most of you probably don’t realise that we have a group of clients who reside in Narrabri. Once a year I visit them to see how things are going, deliver work, pick up work and have a chat.
Like every country town, their fortunes are linked closely to the weather and they have been suffering a long dry spell of late. Cotton is the main crop for the district and this year’s yield is going to be down due to under-planting (typical of a dry spell).
Regardless of how the economic times are, country people are always very welcoming and I thank them for their hospitality. Pictured (left) is one of our valued clients, Gerald McInnes, who owns a local trucking business.
