The myGov website gives access to a range of government online services eg ATO, Centrelink, Medicare etc. These and other services can be linked to your myGov account.
It has come to our attention that some of our clients, when choosing their mailing options, have changed their mailing address from our office address to their home address. This has resulted in some PAYG notices and other ATO correspondence, bypassing our office and delivered directly to either the client’s address or to their inbox on myGov. This has caused some confusion for both clients and ourselves.
As a ‘rule of thumb’ don’t change your mailing address for any tax-related matters.
