On 26 February, the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) service will join the Australian Taxation Office online services Business Portal.
To manage the transition, the SBSCH will be unavailable from Tuesday, 20 February 2018 to Sunday 25 February 2018 inclusive. Super contribution payments in the old system must be completed prior to 3pm AEDT Monday 19 February 2018.
To assess the new system you must obtain an authentication credential to login to the Business Portal, either an AUS key or mamage ABN Connections via myGov.
If you choose to use the “Manage ABN Connections via myGov” as your authentication you should be aware that in setting this up it changes the address that your Tax Office correspondence is sent to. Correspondence that was previously sent to Lister Mason as your Tax Agent may be changed to being sent to your address that is registered with the Tax Office.
No copies or notifications of correspondence are sent to your Tax Agent so we won’t know if the Tax Office has sent correspondence to you.
Note that if you use an AUSkey as your authentication this has no effect on the delivery of Tax Office correspondence so we advise to use this option if possible.
Please contact us if you need any assistance or have any questions regarding these changes.
